World Class Maintenance, Gent University en Howest University of Applied Sciences organiseren in het kader van het Interreg-project Offshore For Sure een reeks van 8 masterclasses over essentiële thema’s binnen assetmanagement, specifiek toegespitst op de offshore windsector. Het Offshore For Sure -project versnelt de regionale energietransitie en stimuleert de duurzame blauwe economie door innovatieve offshore-energieoplossingen te ontwikkelen, te testen en te valoriseren in nauwe samenwerking tussen Belgische en Nederlandse kennisinstellingen, technologieontwikkelaars en maatschappelijke organisaties.
De reeks masterclasses omvat onderwerpen als Industrial / OT Security, Design for Maintenance, Digital Twins, IT Architecture, AI & Robotics, Data Analytics, Failure Analysis en Inspection, Monitoring & Maintenance. De masterclasses vinden vanaf januari 2026 maandelijks plaats in de laatste week van de maand, afwisselend in Vlaanderen en Nederland. De eerste masterclass, gehost door Howest, gaat over Industrial / OT Security en vindt plaats op 28 januari 2026 in Brugge.
Wat kun je verwachten?
Een verdiepend middagseminar over OT/Industrial Security, met speciale aandacht voor offshore- en remote omgevingen. Tijdens deze sessie behandelen we waarom OT-beveiliging cruciaal is, welke risico’s er spelen en hoe je weerbaarheid kunt opbouwen. Verwacht praktijkvoorbeelden, inzichten in regelgeving en perspectieven op maritieme cybersecurity.

These masterclasses address key topics in asset management, with a focus on the offshore wind sector. The Offshore For Sure project accelerates the regional energy transition and promotes a sustainable blue economy by developing, testing, and valorizing innovative offshore energy solutions in close collaboration between Belgian and Dutch knowledge institutions, technology developers, and civil society organizations.
The series covers Industrial / OT Security, Design for Maintenance, Digital Twins, IT Architecture, AI & Robotics, Data Analytics, Failure Analysis, and Inspection, Monitoring & Maintenance. The sessions will be held monthly from January 2026, alternating between Flanders and the Netherlands. The first masterclass, hosted by Howest, focuses on Industrial / OT Security and will take place on 28 January 2026 in Bruges.
