World Class Maintenance, Gent University en Howest University of Applied Sciences organiseren een reeks masterclasses als onderdeel van het Interreg-project Offshore For Sure (O4S). Deze reeks richt zich op belangrijke thema’s binnen assetmanagement, met een focus op de offshore windsector, maar staat open voor geïnteresseerden uit alle sectoren.
Na het succes van de eerste masterclass over OT Security in Brugge, vindt de volgende editie plaats op 25 februari 2026 en gaat over Design for Maintenance.
Wat? Een verdiepende masterclass onder leiding van Leo van Dongen, professor emeritus Maintenance Engineering aan de Universiteit Twente en voormalig CTO bij Nederlandse Spoorwegen. Leo deelt zijn decennia-lange ervaring in het ontwerpen van onderhoudsconcepten voor kapitaalgoederen, van initiële investeringen tot levenscyclusbeheer. Tijdens deze sessie komt ook een praktijkcase uit de offshore windsector aan bod.
Voor wie? Professionals in assetmanagement, onderhoudsengineering, ontwerp en iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in het integreren van onderhoudsstrategieën in de ontwerpfase.

Following the successful OT Security masterclass in Bruges, the next edition on Design for Maintenance will take place on 25 February 2026.
What? An in-depth masterclass led by Leo van Dongen, professor emeritus of Maintenance Engineering at the University of Twente and former CTO of Dutch Railways. Leo shares his decades of experience in designing maintenance concepts for capital goods, from initial investments to lifecycle management. This session also includes a practical case from the offshore wind sector.
Who is it for? Professionals in asset management, maintenance engineering, design, and anyone interested in integrating maintenance strategies into the design phase.
