World Class Maintenance, Gent University and Howest University of Applied Sciences launch a masterclass series as part of the Interreg project Offshore For Sure (O4S). The series addresses key topics in asset management, with a focus on the offshore wind sector, but we welcome interested participants from any industry sector. Following the successful first masterclasses about OT Security, Design for Maintenance, Digital Twins, and Data Analytics for Maintenance, the next edition on AI & Robotics will take place on 24 June 2026.
What? What happens when AI, drones, and humanoid robotics enter the world of offshore wind? In this masterclass, co-organized by the Offshore For Sure project and OWI-Lab Academy, we’ll explore how AI and robotics are reshaping offshore asset management. From autonomous inspections and predictive maintenance to advanced robotics in offshore O&M, this masterclass will showcase cutting-edge technologies that are rapidly becoming part of the offshore industry reality. You will learn directly from researchers and innovators who are actively testing and deploying these technologies in offshore environments. Additionally, you will visit companies like C-Spect, VLIZ Marine Robotics Centre, and GEOxyz, where cutting-edge robotic offshore applications are being developed.
Who is it for? Professionals in asset management, maintenance engineering, AI, robotics, and anyone interested in the application of AI and robotics in data-driven asset management.
